We collect as little as possible. We never sell what we do collect. Here’s the specifics.

Who we are

Slaacr is a curated AI art gallery operated by MaxtDesign as a non-profit project. Contact: our contact form.

What we collect

Slaacr collects the minimum information needed to run the gallery and respond to people who reach out. Specifically:

  • Newsletter sign-ups. If you give us your email to receive updates, we store it for that purpose only.
  • Contact form submissions. When you send us a message, we keep your name, email address, and message so we can reply.
  • Server logs. Standard web-server logs (IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) are retained for at most 30 days for security and operational purposes.
  • Anonymous analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics (no third-party advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking) to understand which pages are read.

What we don’t collect

Slaacr does not currently support user accounts, so we do not collect passwords, profile data, or behavioral tracking information tied to identified users. We do not sell, rent, or trade any information we collect.

Pinterest integration

Slaacr publishes images to its own Pinterest boards using the Pinterest API. This integration only writes to Pinterest accounts we own; it does not access, read, or store data from any visitor’s Pinterest account. If you click through from a Slaacr image to a Pinterest pin, your interaction at that point is governed by Pinterest’s privacy policy, not ours.

Where Slaacr stores Pinterest pin URLs alongside its images, those URLs are public Pinterest data. Authentication tokens used by Slaacr’s server to post on its own behalf are stored encrypted server-side and never exposed to visitors.

Cookies

Slaacr uses essential cookies only — items needed to remember your preferences (e.g., light/dark mode if applicable) and to operate the site. We do not set advertising cookies and do not participate in cross-site tracking.

Children

Slaacr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Your rights

You can ask us, at any time, to:

  • Tell you what we have. We’ll send back any data tied to your email address within a reasonable time.
  • Delete it. We’ll remove your data from our active systems and request removal from any backups on their next rotation.
  • Correct it. If we have something wrong, we’ll fix it.
  • Opt out of email. Every newsletter we send has a one-click unsubscribe.

Send any of those requests via our contact form.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we collect or use information, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date at the top. For substantial changes, we’ll also notify newsletter subscribers.
