Terms of Service

The plain-language rules for using slaacr.com, the images we publish, and the integrations we offer.

The agreement

By using slaacr.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

Slaacr is operated by MaxtDesign as a non-profit project. References below to “we,” “us,” and “Slaacr” mean the Slaacr team operating the Site.

Image license

The images on slaacr.com are AI-generated by us. They are made available under the following terms:

  • Personal use — free. No attribution required. Wallpapers, personal projects, screen savers, reference — go ahead.
  • Commercial use — credit required. Credit “Slaacr” and link back to the image’s page on slaacr.com. Don’t claim the work as your own.
  • Reselling — not permitted. Images, modifications, and derivatives may not be resold as products, prints, stock-photography licenses, or NFTs.
  • Training data — ask first. Use of Slaacr images as inputs to train other AI models requires our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site or its content to:

  • Violate any law or regulation.
  • Infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Send unsolicited advertising, malware, or attempts to compromise the Site’s security.
  • Scrape, mass-download, or systematically copy content beyond fair-use levels.
  • Misrepresent your relationship to Slaacr (e.g., claim you operate or are affiliated with it).

User-submitted content

If you submit a comment, suggestion, or other content (e.g., via the contact form), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that content for purposes related to operating Slaacr (responding to you, improving the Site, and similar). You confirm you have the right to grant this license.

Pinterest integration

Slaacr publishes its own AI-generated images to Pinterest boards we own, using the Pinterest API. Pins on those boards are governed by Pinterest’s own terms when you interact with them on Pinterest.

If you click a “Pin to Pinterest” or similar button on Slaacr, your interaction with Pinterest is governed by Pinterest’s terms, not ours. We don’t access your Pinterest account.

AI-generated content

All gallery images on Slaacr are produced using AI image generation tools. We disclose this on every image page and in our about copy. Images may include creative interpretations, factual inaccuracies, or stylized representations. We make no claims that images depict real places, real events, or photographically-accurate scenes unless explicitly noted.

No warranties

The Site and its content are provided “as is.” We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We don’t guarantee the Site will be available without interruption, free of errors, or compatible with every browser, device, or assistive technology.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Slaacr nor MaxtDesign will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or its content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a revision means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or remove access to the Site for users who violate these terms. We may also discontinue the Site, in whole or in part, at any time without notice.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of operation of MaxtDesign, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the appropriate state or federal court of that jurisdiction.
